Industry Expert Paul Hastings Joins mirada to Drive
UK Sales and Operations

23 June 2010, London, UK - mirada, the audiovisual content interaction specialist, today announces that interactive expert Paul Hastings has joined the team as UK Sales Director. Paul's role will include building and managing a UK sales team, overseeing key accounts and enabling mirada to more effectively cross-sell products from its four business areas to mirada customers.

"Paul's background in TV production, interactive media and his experience of driving sales makes him the ideal person to drive mirada forward in the UK," says José Luis Vázquez, CEO, mirada. "His depth of experience means that Paul has a real understanding of customer needs and how to meet them across our product offering. I look forward to Paul using his experience to build upon our already strong position in the UK, where our products are installed and live at over 20 of the UK's largest broadcasters."

Paul joins mirada from MiCard, the company that developed and deployed for Turner Broadcasting the world's first interactive TV loyalty scheme. Previously, Paul was co-founder of Mindhouse, the interactive and multi-channel service delivery platform. While at Mindhouse, Paul was a key player in sales to BBC, CNN, ITV, Channel 4 and many others. Paul started his career at the BBC, producing entertainment programming, before moving to BBC Resources as Head of the Corporate Production Unit.
