José Luis visits Uruguay

Maria Simon, the Minister of Education and José Luis met up in Trinidad, Uruguay to officially launch Plan Cardales.

On the 28th of August in the city of Trinidad,  the government of Uruguay launched Plan Cardales.  Present were the Minister of Education and Culture María Simón, the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining Daniel Martínez, Minister of Economy and Finance Alvaro García, the Armando Castaingdebat authority of the Municipality of Flores, the President of Latu Miguel Brechner, President of Antel and authorities of the Ministery of Social Development. 
 
Also present were officials of the European Union and of the Spanish Embassy in Uruguay, as well as also parties of the relevant sectors. mirada was represented by CEO Jose Luis Vazquez and our Sales Manager for Latin America Gustavo Romay.
 
The Minister of Education and Culture, María Simón presented the audio-visual content and the interactive services by mirada which included information services for pharmacies, weather and recipes. In addition, an interactive educational application for television for which the government offers courses was also showcased. As part of the official launch, officials of the Ministery of Social Development and mirada visited one of the homes that have benefited from Plan Cardales.
