mirada, the audiovisual content interaction specialist is today announcing that it has teamed up with Sky Italia to deliver interactive advertising applications.
This exciting new service will allow viewers on the Sky Italia platform to engage with adverts through a 'call to action' in the interactive menu and will allow brands to offer additional associated content or product information.
Giovanni Azzará, Country Manager for Italy at mirada commented; "mirada's experience in providing interactive services to broadcasters meant we were able to complete the project quickly, reducing Sky Italia's time-to-market significantly and enabling the broadcaster to provide an exciting service to customers," he continued; "In addition to speed, we were able to offer Sky Italia an application that could be integrated within Sky Italia's existing environment meaning the company didn't need to alter any build, configuration or deployment plans; we could just slot in.

Because of the commitment to the development of such services, mirada was able to develop and integrate its interactive advertising application so it is compatible with 20 different types of set-top boxes.
Following a recent office opening in Milan, mirada has now made the first step into the Italian interactive advertising space on a major platform like Sky Italia and is hoping to maintain its position at the forefront of interactive advertising.
