mirada expands broadcast facilities

mirada plc, the audiovisual content interaction specialist, is today launching Wapping Broadcast.

Wapping Broadcast now offers three studios, two galleries, two edit suites, Master Control Room Transmission, as well as return path and playout facilities.

Deals to date include:

• TwoWay Media - Wapping Broadcast has recently been chosen to provide studio and playout services for Challenge Jackpot, a live roulette game available on Virgin Media and Sky from interactive production company, TwoWay Media.

• Gala - mirada has extended its playout services to long-term customer Gala and now streams Gala Bingo’s TV feed on to www.galabingo.co.uk as well as to Sky. The addition of this video component onto Gala’s website has immediately resulted in a significant increase of players and tickets sold.

• BBC – mirada is the preferred partner to provide return path (interactive) services for BBC interactive campaigns for Comic Relief, Sports Relief and Children In Need live shows. Wapping Broadcast has so far handled over £4 million worth of donations.
