mirada forms strategic alliance with Plus-Five Gaming

5 January 2010

mirada forms strategic alliance with Plus-Five Gaming to provide video based gaming to gambling operators across all platforms.

5th January   2010, London UK – mirada, the audiovisual interaction specialist is today announcing it is partnering with Plus-Five Gaming to make Virtual Dealer Roulette, and other video-led games available on the Plus-Five Gaming platform.

Having completed the technical integration with the Plus-Five Gaming platform, mirada can now make its live Virtual Dealer Roulette available to Plus-Five Gaming’s clients. Incrementally, and as a part of the partnership, mirada will also be developing a series of innovative video-based games for distribution through the platform.

mirada’s Virtual Dealer Roulette has been successfully deployed and selected by multiple TV channels and internet gambling operators around the world as it provides end-users with the experience of a live video roulette game without incurring the operational cost of a live show. It brings internet and TV players all the benefits of a live dealer game by using a large number of pre-recorded video clips that are scheduled together to provide a seamless video roulette game.

mirada has provided video-based gaming since 2002 with the launch of Avago, the first truly interactive gaming TV channel, and has since applied this know-how to internet gaming making it fun, instantaneous and visual.  An alliance with a platform such as Plus-Five Gaming marks a development of the company’s strategy to distribute video driven gaming products to a global online audience.

José Luis Vázquez, CEO of mirada comments: “I believe that video-based gaming will be at the forefront of the next generation of gaming products and play a pivotal role in engaging users, increasing loyalty and the lifetime value for our customers.

He continues: “The Plus-Five Gaming model provides the opportunity to distribute video enabled gaming content widely in an extremely cost effective way. I anticipate this will lead to most sites delivering premium gaming content in this manner in future and as a result enjoy higher conversion rates of video messages, compared to other marketing techniques.”

Andy Jones, CEO of Plus-Five Gaming says, “We want to offer our clients a wide choice of great online games and we are therefore thrilled to have signed with mirada TV. They understand that online players want more than just a graphic of a Roulette wheel spinning, and their unique video streaming technology brings the game to life and makes it more fun to play.

Plus-Five Gaming will launch its first sites in January 2010 to coincide with the IGE/ICEi event at Earls Court. To find out more, please visit the Plus-Five stand, 5110.
