Cablecom Mexico continues to expand its digital TV service with the launch of new features on its Digital 3.0 platform, built on mirada´s Iris product, and integrated with Coship set-top-boxes and Irdeto conditional access. The new and easy-to-use PVR features include one-click recording, advanced conflict management, timeshift functionality, dual recording, ability to record series with a simple click, and general recording management. Digital 3.0 offers Cablecom clients dozens of full HD TV channels with incredible resolution and colours, in addition to 200+ audio and video channels, as well as pay-per-view content and premium packages presented on a cutting-edge interactive customisable EPG developed especially for Cablecom. The new PVR features added to the platform give subscribers the ability to manage and plan the content they watch, so that they never miss their favourite programs again.
Iris is mirada´s novel end-to-end multi-screen solution, which merges the best of traditional broadcast services and OTT services in one; presents an intuitive, efficient and unified user experience across multiple devices: STB, PC, mobiles and tablets.
