But if you are also very systematic, pay attention to detail and have the capacity to manage many things at the same time – especially in a workplace where routine is not an option – you will score even more points. People would describe you as a self-starter: you like to spread your wings and you don’t need constant supervision. You work a lot and laugh even more. You aren’t afraid to make things happen and, most importantly, you have a positive attitude to life.

You will join our Marketing Department, where you will be doing many different things. You will work closely with the rest of the team, as well as with Presales, UX, HR, Sales, Product and Management teams, and actively participate in the decision-making process. We would love a talented colleague who loves working as a part of a team, but has the capacity to work independently when needed. You should be a fast learner with a curious mind, as after some time you will be expected to have a good understanding of our business, the technology that runs our products, and to bring fresh ideas and initiatives to new projects.

What you will be doing:
  • Design all digital communication materials for web and social media in accordance with our corporate image, as well as presentations, brochures and other materials for a variety of audiences: investors, potential clients, employees, adapting your style
  • Participate in the creation of Mirada’s corporate image, working on our visual identity, branding and brand personality
  • Work on visual strategy for internal communication and our office’s visual identity
  • Prepare our presence at international trade shows – from stand designs to brochures
  • Create product videos
  • Participate in the preparation of industry press review and technology content creation and occasionally help out with translations
  • Conduct industry research from time to time
  • Manage relations with providers
  • Collaborate on Social Media strategy
  • …and much more!

What we are looking for:
  • Education in Graphic Design, video edition or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant full-time experience
  • Excellent level of both English and Spanish, written and spoken
  • Experience working to deadlines and multitasking
  • Capacity to adapt to last minute changes
  • Very good knowledge and proven experience working with Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop and/or similar software
  • Very good knowledge and proven experience working with video editing and post-production tools: Adobe Premiere, After Effect or similar
  • Strategically-oriented minded with capacity to generate added value in visual proposals
  • Creativity and willingness to try new things and deliver nothing but excellence
  • Negotiation skills with ability to interact in English

What we would love:
  • Experience working in marketing departments
  • Photography
  • HTML/CSS knowledge

Note: If you are a self-confessed tech geek, don’t forget to mention it during the interview, we would love to hear all about it!

What we offer:
  • Opportunity to work in an international environment
  • Fixed salary depending on the experience of the successful candidate
  • Variable pay incentives
  • Long-term contract
  • Ticket RestaurantⓇ
  • Health insurance
  • Short working hours every Friday and throughout July and August

It’s great to work with people who enjoy what they do
Débora, Graphic Designer
  • It’s 9am and our first meeting of the day is to prepare for the upcoming trade show in Las Vegas. We start by discussing what we want to communicate at this event, who our audience is and… let the brainstorming commence! After going over every checklist twice, we sigh with relief as we come to a decision on all the final parts that need to be prepared. Time to start designing!

  • Every event is a challenge and the most vital yet difficult part is the stand. Location, measurements, colours, materials, making sure our products stand out… we take care of every last detail. So let’s get to work! Just as I’m starting up Adobe Illustrator… PING! Heather needs an image to post along with some exciting company news on social media. We take the photo, work a bit of “retouch” magic and return to stand_v1.ai.

  • We work side by side to make sure that we are on the right lines, improving ideas along the way and taking into account every detail until we reach the end goal, which this time is called stand_v16_final_final_ai. It’s great to work with people who enjoy (and even get excited about) what they do because, regardless of the steps required to get from v1 to v16_final_final_, it’s always better when they are done in good company.
